Overview

A galactic mercenary (Kurt Russell), trained to be a fighting machine, has been made obsolete by a new breed of genetically engineered warriors. Whilst working on a low-grade assignment on a distant planet, he is forced to turn protector of the colony's inhabitants, who are being subjected to a brutal attack by the gene-enhanced fighters.
