Overview

With appearances by artists ranging from James Turrell to David Byrne and narration by Meryl Streep, this documentary uncovers the history of how MASS MoCA became the largest museum for contemporary art in the world. Directed by Jennifer Trainer, one of MASS MoCA's original builders, it tells the story of an unconventional museum and the small town of North Adams, MA it calls home.
