Songs She Wrote About People She Knows

Overview

Carol, an emotionally bottled up woman, begins writing and singing songs she wrote about people she knows as a sort of therapy. Her songs alienate her friends and co-workers except for her boss, Dave. Dave fires Carol with a large severance package so she can pursue her music, and then Dave quits his job so he can chase rock star dreams with her. The two misfits begin working with an unusual record producer, Silent G, but this form of self-expression might not be as cathartic as Carol had hoped.
