600,000 people at this festival witnessed one of Jethro Tull's most impressive performances. The film tells the events leading up to it as well as the performance itself with a contribution from Ian Anderson describing the dramatic almost violent festival moods both backstage and in the audience. As he said "it was a watershed time" between peace and love on one hand and hooliganism on the other.
