Overview

This is the debut movie of Jaya Prada where she plays Hema, a deaf-mute girl. Hema falls in love with Raju (played by Rishi Kapoor) a musician, who out of empathy helps her achieve her dreams of dancing after she escapes a treacherous deal where she was sold off by her stepmother. However, her insecurities lead her to believe that Raju may never feel the same way about her.
