Overview

From Ann Rule's true crime collection, we follow Val, who finds herself and her children held hostage by Denny who forces his way into her house after committing murder. To save them and husband Mark, not yet home, Val offers to drive Denny wherever he wants, becoming an unwilling accomplice. Val builds a rapport with him and uses it to save the lives of bystanders, herself and even her captor.
