The True Nature of Bernadette

Overview

Bored Montreal housewife Bernadette (Micheline Lanctôt) decides to trade her comfortable bourgeois life in the city for a simpler existence in the Quebec countryside. So Bernadette and her son move into a dilapidated farmhouse where they begin communing with nature and making their living off the land. When the newcomers' arrival coincides with positive changes in the community, Bernadette's neighbors bestow on her the dubious title of "miracle worker."
