Phuntroo is the unusual tale of an engineering student who when spurned by his love Anaya, decides to build a better version of her with artificial intelligence.

Sameer and Nachiket are cousins and they meet for the first time at a relatives wedding. They have an argument and Sameer leaves. Later on, Sameer comes back and Nachiket has drowned in the well they used to swim in. Sameer searches for meaning of life and sees Nachiket in the well and gets closure.
