At the start of the 20th century, a wealthy orphan, resigned to an arranged marriage, and an immigrant working to help his poor family fall in love.

Two rival musicians suddenly find themselves without a gig on Christmas Eve and decide to road trip to their neighboring hometowns together. During the drive, the pair find themselves surrounded by Santa conventioneers, saving a Christmas nativity play, performing onstage in Nashville with music royalty and braving a massive snowstorm which just may lead them to making sweet music together.

Up-and-coming journalist Jackie seizes the opportunity to run a small-town newspaper in Alaska and uses a series of Christmas articles to help the struggling business.

With the help of a few of her forest friends, a sad little pine tree sets out to achieve her dream of being a real Christmas tree.
