Undertaker Cedric Brown is again faced with an almost impossible task: He has to look for a nanny for his seven naughty children within a very short time, who have only had pranks and mischief on their minds since their mother's death. After the employment agency rejects him again, one night, the gruesome nanny Mcphee knocks on the door. The children want to get rid of this nanny too, but they begin to behave as if by magic. When their nasty great-aunt Adelaide wants the house back, the children have to work with Nanny McPhee to prevent the worst.
