This TV film explores a little-known aspect of Italy’s fight against organised crime: the recovery of Italy’s “honour sons”, teenagers trained by their fathers or grandfathers to believe that murder, death and prison are steps in an obligatory step in the family trade. The film is inspired by the work of the magistrates of Juvenile Court of Reggio Calabria, the first in Italy to remove children from Ndrangheta families.

A bittersweet comedy directed by Lorenzo Vignolo, Workers (2012) follows a group of quirky temp workers navigating odd jobs and absurd bosses. With a cast including Dario Bandiera and Paolo Briguglia, the film offers a sharp, ironic look at modern precarity, mixing satire and heart. Nominated at several Italian festivals for its original script and ensemble cast.
