Based on the life of the legendary Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh (Jacques Dutronc), this French film focuses on the last few months before his death. Detailing Vincent's close, if volatile, relationship with his brother, Theo (Bernard Le Coq). Also the friendships with his doctor and physician's pretty daughter, as well as his late-period work and the creative process.

A magic potion transports a knight and his loyal assistant from the Middle Ages to modern-day France.
