Kettle Springs is a dying town until Frendo, a symbol of the town's past success, decides that bloodshed is the only way to make Kettle Springs great again.

Each year on Halloween just before the harvest, the teenagers in a small farming community band together to try to stop Sawtooth Jack, a demon who rises from the cornfields and races to the town church killing anyone who gets in his way.

When Liv (Janel Parrish), an introvert who loves working from home, returns to the office on a hybrid schedule, she forms a romantic connection with the anonymous coworker who uses her desk every other day. Referring to each other only as Ms. Monday and Mr. Tuesday, the two are able to open up and share their true selves.

A call to a newspaper draws an amateur sleuth into a dangerous homicide case.
