Chirutha is a 2007 Telugu action film starring Ram Charan, Neha Sharma, Ashish Vidyarthi and Prakash Raj. Charan witnesses his father’s murder as a child but goes to prison in order to pay for his mother's surgery. After his release from the prison, he plans to go to Bangkok to work in a tourist agency. He falls in love with Sanjana who is the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Charan’s reason for going to Bangkok is to find his father’s murderer. Will he be able to find his father’s killer?

The film is a love story between two small-time criminals. Jayanta Bhai is a small-time thug. His enemy is Simran. He unexpectedly falls in love with her. This leads to problems in his business.

To fight the corruption in Punjab university, senior student Sandhu (Gippy Grewal) announces his candidate as Grewal (Dheeraj Kumar) for the election, the revolt doesn't go well with Mla Jagtar singh alias Jagga (Pawan Malhotra) and his notorious brother Kala (Vikramjit Virk), the tussle between them triggers further when Kala learns that his sister Simran (Neha Sharma) is in love with Sandhu.
