Changing the world, one letter at a time... Helvetica is a feature-length independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. It looks at the proliferation of one typeface (which will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2007) as part of a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives.

LOTTE, with her cocky, big city attitude, is impulsive and rough around the edges. No wonder she's constantly clashing with her work mates, girlfriends and even her boyfriend... Now he's thrown her out of their shared flat and she spends all of her energy trying to find a place to stay. This is LOTTTE's colorful life on the streets of Berlin, stumbling from man to man, and flat to flat.
