Ranganayaki, is a 1981 Kannada film directed by Puttanna Kanagal starring Aarathi, Ambareesh, Ramakrishna, Ashok, Rajanand. The film is based on the novel Ranganayaki by Ashwattha.

A delightful blend of nostalgia, humor & drama. It is a coming-of-age story of the siblings of a typical orthodox family as they explore the changes in patriarchy, arranged marriages, gender roles and education and work opportunities for women through the 1960s-70s of Bangalore.
