Sivaji Ganesan

Sivaji Ganesan is a Radio Engineer and a scientist. Pandari Bai is a college student and a patriotic woman. In a strange situation they meet, fall in love and get married. On a business trip Sivaji goes to Japan becomes their spy and wants to avenge his home nation. Sivaji gets murdered. The film narrates the police investigation and zeroes in on finding the culprit of Sivaji's murder.

The theme of this film is possessiveness and distrust towards ones partner. Thyagarajan who is the protagonist of the movie loses his childhood friend due to his extra possessive behavior.

Two siblings, Rajasekharan and Radha, become orphans when they lose their mother at a young age. Things take a turn when Rajasekharan's friend Anand falls in love with Radha.

Palum Pazhamum is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. Bhimsingh. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and B. Saroja Devi. The film, produced by G. N. Velumani under Saravana Films, had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy and was released on 9 September 1961. The film was a hit at the box office. It was remade in Kannada as Beratha Jeeva, and in Hindi as Saathi.
