(2019)During coup d’état days Memo lives with his beloved little daughter and grandmother in an Aegean town. Memo is a shepherd with a mental deficiency but he lives happily in his small world. In 1983, when Memo is framed with the murder of the martial law commander’s daughter, his life is turned upside down. He’s sentenced to death and gets locked up in ward seven. There he has little chance of staying alive. The inmates treat him hatefully only to see he’s a golden hearted guy after some time. They are convinced that Memo can’t be a killer. In time, everyone Memo has done right by gets mobilized to save his life. While everyone is seeking justice Memo and his daughter Ova’s only wish is to get reunited. Memo is innocent but now he needs a miracle to be able to get back to his old life…

The Mountain
(2012)Oğuz and Bekir belong to a small troop of the Turkish army that gets ambushed on a mission and is completely decimated except for the two unequal comrades. Oğuz, who comes from Istanbul, is just completing the last months of his military service. The rebellious Bekir has to serve an extra two years of military service for disciplinary reasons. Until now, the two have not liked each other very much and have often clashed. Left to their own devices and with the enemy close on their heels, the two young men have to work together. Apart from their two rifles with their pitiful four shots, their courage and their will to survive are the only things they have left to free themselves from this adverse situation…
