A visual artist with a charmed life dips a toe into his dark side and unleashes an unspeakable evil on the city of Buffalo with his industrial drill.

Six grad students spending a weekend in a remote cabin are forced to take in a mysterious hunter. Awakened by howling, the hunter warns them they are in danger from werewolves. They attempt to flee, but wolflike creatures savagely kill one of them and wound another. Trapped in the cabin with only one weapon, they must fend off a siege by an entire pack of monsters.
