I Went Down
(1997)Irish action comedy written by Conor McPherson and directed by Paddy Breathnach, starring Brendan Gleeson and Peter McDonald. Git is an ex-con freshly released from a stint in prison. He soon finds himself thrust into the shady criminal underworld by crime boss Tom French, who forces him into taking on a task for him. He is teamed up with Bunny - a quick tempered brute who offed his own grandfather, and set the challenge of taking a hostage. Although their relationship gets off to a frosty start, the pair soon realise that if they are to survive the brutal underworld they must work together.
