In Manhattan, New York, 1973, a low-level Mafia soldier aspires to be a comedian until he becomes the key suspect in an underboss’s brazen murder.

A married couple along with their newborn baby retreat to the idyllic English countryside in an attempt to repair their fractured marriage. However things rapidly take a turn for the worse when their car breaks down and they are forced to spend the night at a remote bed and breakfast known as Eden Lodge. At first the place looks and feels like paradise, but their peaceful weekend quickly turns to terror when they realize that the people they meet are being killed one by one.

A screenwriter enjoys quietude and a new romance in an old manor house in West Wales, until he discovers that it is haunted by malevolent spirits.
