The Living Dead Girl
(1982)While vacationing in France, a photographer (Carina Barone) snaps a photo of a haunting young woman (Blanchard), only to be told by villagers that it is the image of a dead girl. The girl is a corpse, reanimated by a chemical spill, and now wanders the grounds of the crumbling home she once lived in, hungering for human blood. The living dead girl is reunited with her girlhood friend (Pierro), who helps provide her with fresh victims, but it is only a matter of time before the photographer exposes the girl's terrible secret.

Behind Convent Walls
(1978)A lushly filmed exploration of the relationship between flesh and spirit from Polish provocateur Walerian Borowczyk, director of Blanche, The Beast, and Immoral Tales. Behind the walls of an apparently serene convent, a zealous abbess tries in vain to keep order and prevent her sexually repressed charges from experiencing the sins of the flesh.
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Miss Osbourne
(1981)“Potent and poetic, mischievous and macabre, Borowczyk’s film shows how many imaginative worlds the horror movie can open up when the right artist holds the keys” (Nigel Andrews, Financial Times) It’s the engagement party for brilliant young Dr Henry Jekyll (Udo Kier) and his fiancée, the beautiful Fanny Osbourne (Marina Pierro), attended by various pillars of Victorian society, including the astonishing Patrick Magee in one of his final roles. But when people are found raped and murdered outside and ultimately inside the house, it becomes clear that a madman has broken in to disrupt the festivities – but who is he? And why does Dr Jekyll keep sneaking off to his laboratory? We know the answer, of course, but Walerian Borowczyk’s visually stunning adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s much-filmed tale is crammed with wildly imaginative and outrageously perverse touches characteristic of the man who scandalised audiences with Immoral Tales and The Beast, not least the explicitly sexualised nature of Mr Hyde’s primal urges.

Love Rites
(1987)An arrogant clothing buyer meets a beautiful prostitute and pursues a relationship with her, unknowing of her dark and mysterious history.
