Peturam loves Radha. Her brother asks him to first earn at least Rs Ten Lakhs. Peturam goes to Bombay. He meets a Producer who takes him in his film. The film is a success and Peturam becomes a star. He goes back to his home town but sees that Radha is already married to someone else.

Dharam Karam is a 1975 Hindi film Randhir Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Rekha and Prem Nath. Shankar, a criminal, wants that his son to grow up to become a decent and honest man. He decides to switch his son with that of Ashok, a renowned stage artist. Will Ashok ever get to meet his real son?
