The story of the big changes a family and a country went through at the beginning of the last century. Seen through the eyes of a 10 year old boy and his grandfather living in a small town in Crete, we witness the enormous upheaval when the Turkish population had to migrate in the early 20th century. It is a grand story about migration and fears but also about love and forgiveness.

Traveling in the pandemic has been challenging, but the waves remain in the same place and often close to home. Home Missions is about a passion for surfing that can overcome the biggest difficulties. surf

The tragi-comic story chronicles the struggle of two young lovers from dueling families who try to end the ancient spell cast upon their Black Sea village that prevents loved ones from coming together.
