In a quiet neighbourhood, one man hides a dark, terrifying secret. For one young couple, the desire to uncover the depths of his depravity will take them to a hideous place inhabited by pain, torture and death. Planting hidden cameras around his house they hope to reveal his crimes. But when they come to retrieve the evidence they find themselves trapped in the killer's lair. They have two options: fight their way out or face becoming the focus of his butchery.

Alessio Rinaldi, a young director, gets the charge from a producer to write the script of his first movie with Ubaldo Terzani, a well-known writer of horror novels. Alessio moves into Terzani's house to start this collaboration, but a strange relationship grows between them: Ubaldo Terzani unveils his dark side and Alessio falls in a desperate depth of craziness and nightmares.
