When a woman moves into an Los Angeles apartment block, the deaths of several of her neighbours lead her on a hunt to solve the mystery behind them.

Following the death of her husband, and newly licensed as a Medical Doctor, Belinda accepts a job as a “Regional Doctor” traveling and treating patients in a series of small towns. Along the way she once again finds love and discovers the joys of parenthood.
