Art is mocked and destroyed, and imagination is considered a serious illness. In this grim world, a brilliant mathematician engages in a forbidden romance with a colleague and learns about a secret resistance. He is faced with a choice - to join or betray it.

A young painter, Max, discovers a diary once owned by Amedeo Modigliani and soon finds himself spiraling into the same tragic fate as the legendary artist. As Max struggles with addiction, self-destruction, and complicated relationships, he becomes increasingly consumed by Modigliani's dark path, unable to escape the curse of his past.
