Bernard Le Coq

Based on the life of the legendary Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh (Jacques Dutronc), this French film focuses on the last few months before his death. Detailing Vincent's close, if volatile, relationship with his brother, Theo (Bernard Le Coq). Also the friendships with his doctor and physician's pretty daughter, as well as his late-period work and the creative process.

Nathalie drives her younger sister Claire, to a center for amnesia. She was struck by lightning in the forest and has slight memory problems. The center welcomed their mother, who died young from Alzheimer's disease. Claire enters a curious and quirky universe. She meets Philippe, a forty-year-old man who lost his memory following a car accident. Both fall in love with each other.
