Diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, a wealthy businessman conspires to steal the head of Nostradamus and have it transplanted onto his body.

1957. A boozy old reporter (Pat O'Brien) finds his life is falling apart around him. He loses his wife and then his job. He is dragged back to reality when his son needs help. He goes to ask for his old job back but finds his old boss dead in the office . (The movie also features a performance by Tommy Steele).

Margaret suffers a recurring nightmare in which she sees an ancient Egyptian queen, to whom she bears an uncanny resemblance, sealed up in a sarcophagus. The priests who entomb her first chop off her hand, before throwing it to jackals. They are then killed by a mysterious and powerful force that lacerates their throats.

Paco, a 12-year-old boy working in a Valencia bank as a runner, decides to 'borrow' money from the bank in order to pay the repair bill on his father's taxicab. But a bank clerk soon realises that the bank has been robbed and Paco finds himself being chased all over town by the police and local villains.
