Tukaram is a biopic on the life of the Saint Tukaram. Born in the town of Dehu, to an affluent family of moneylenders, Tukaram is inclined towards Lord Vitthal. As time passes, he takes over the family business but ends up losing his family and business in an unforeseen famine. Will he be able to handle the responsibilities toward his second wife along with his devotional affection for the Lord?

Kisna, a farmer like many others is trying as hard as he can to work, unaware that he is being watched as a possible candidate for next suicide. He proceeds doing only what he knows best, toil hard to get a crop & pray that the rains will be on his side at least this year.
