Hideyuki Kasahara

Enigmatic Mamoru (Tadanobu Asano) lives alone with his poisonous jellyfish that stings anyone getting too close. Yuji (Jô Odagiri) is his solo friend, work together in a factory. They share a dislike for boss, Fujiwara. Mamoru murders both Fujiwara and his wife. With Mamoru in prison awaiting execution, Yuji is entrusted with the care of the jellyfish, becoming attached to the strange creature.
