Yıldız Kenter

This documentary traces the life and career of Turkish theatrical legend Yıldız Kenter through interviews with her family, fellow actors and students.

Ahmet is seriously ill and does not want to be a burden to his sons any longer. He escapes from the hospital and finds a place to stay in a retirement home. He is given a friendly welcome and he is taken good care of. Once his family find out about the retirement home, they are outraged, because the turkish traditions require that the parents stay with their children until they die. Ahmet invites his friends from the retirement home to the east of Turkey to show his appreciation. In Turkey, they experience the traditional and almost forgotten values of a family.
