LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation
(2022)Following the success of The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special (2020) and LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales (2021), the cross-saga storytelling will continue in our next seasonal special -- LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation. It is shortly after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, and Finn has arranged a much-needed surprise vacation for his friends Rey, Poe, Rose, Chewie, BB-8, R2-D2, and C-3PO aboard the ultra-luxurious Galactic Starcruiser, The Halcyon! But Finn’s plan to have one last hurrah together quickly goes awry when he’s separated from the group. Alone on board the Halcyon, searching for his friends, Finn encounters three Force Spirits -- Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Princess Leia, who each share their own unexpected stories of vacations gone wrong. Obi-Wan reminisces about an adventure hot off the tail of his journey in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus series. He recounts teaming with a rebel spy for a heist at Jabba's Palace where he must pose as a vacationer. Featuring heart-stopping and hilarious close calls and an epic run-in with Boba Fett, Obi-Wan will impart to Finn that vacations are about having fun in the moment. When Finn later meets force ghost Anakin, he will be told a tale about how even evil sometimes takes a vacation as Darth Vader takes an exasperated Emperor to the beautiful beaches of Scarif for some rest and relaxation. Finally, General Leia Organa visits Finn and relates a story to Finn about a Solo family getaway on the Lakes of Endor on the eve of young Ben Solo going off to train with his Uncle Luke. Over the course of hearing these tales Finn learns there’s much more to taking a vacation than he thought. With his new-found wisdom Finn must now confide to his friends how he truly feels, assuming he can find them before their vacation is over.
