After a suspected bomb attack, CCTV footage picks up Michael Mason (Richard Madden - Game of Thrones) at the scene. Sean Briar (Idris Elba - Luther, Prometheus), the CIA agent on the case, soon realises that Michael is just a pawn in a much bigger game and is also his best asset to uncover a large-scale conspiracy.

Follows "Irish" Mike Flannigan (Michael C. Pitt) on the day of his first fight since being released from prison. He reconnects with his trainer (Ron Perlman), and his father (Joe Pesci) as the film builds to a climactic fight.
