Anjali Devi

Lava Kusa is a 1963 Indian Tamil film directed by C. S. Rao and C. Pullaiah. The film is produced by Shankar Reddy and stars N. T. Rama Rao, Anjali Devi and T. L. Kanta Rao in the lead roles. The film had musical score by Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao and K. V. Mahadevan.

A man cons Alladin into finding him a magic lamp. Alladin finds the lamp and runs away from the man. Few years later, when Alladin learns about the powers of the lamp, he decides to use it.

The movie is about a devotee Prahalada in Hindu mythology. After his hard efforts, Ranga Rao (Hiranyakashipu) gets blessed by God Brahma. His son (Prahalada) is a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu and praises him throughout the day. The rest of the movie is about the father's rigorous efforts to prevent his son's devotion.

Panakalu cheats Ravi's grandparents and illegally occupies their house named Brundavanam; knowing this fact, Ravi promises his grandmother that he will regain control of the house.
