In this Western filmed in and around Phoenix, Arizona, three prospectors--Senn, Taylor, and Hayden--divide and bury their gold to safeguard it from warring Apache Indians. After greedy Senn kills Taylor and wounds Hayden, a young Chinese girl saves Hayden's life. But Senn tells a bounty hunter that Hayden killed Taylor and schemes to share the reward for Hayden's capture. The plan goes awry when Senn accidentally blows up the gold cache and goes berserk.

An honest professional gambler runs a fancy floating casino beyond the three-mile limit, where a host of illustrious guests find fun and adventure.

Loosely based on the life of police officer and private eye Barney Ruditsky who fought organized crime in New York City during the roaring twenties.
