John Edward Peck

A gifted student transfers to an elite high school in a wealthy neighborhood and is recruited by the "Sentinels," a secret fraternity that has appointed itself guardian of the school's social order. When the bodies of students not approved by the Sentinels start appearing in the nearby woods, the new boy must find the courage to reveal his horrible secret.

After the brazen escape from his sentence to be hanged, infamous outlaw Jack Barnett cons a crooked judge, local saloon gal and an old partner into partaking in the heist of a lifetime.
