Hassan El Fad

After leaving Morocco amidst racial tensions spurred by the Yom Kippur war, the son of a once famous Jewish musician travels to his home country to bury his father. As he meets the members of the band, his life unexpectedly transforms.

Pierrot (Patrick Labbé) returns to Saint-Hyacinthe, his hometown, to see the people and places he loves and has always carried with him, even when he lived abroad. He's coming full circle, closing the books. Peaceful, Pierrot has no fear of this death which is coming prematurely. He asks his childhood friend, Jacques (Paul Doucet), to help him end his days well. The approach, which is unusual, will nevertheless lead the two friends to a soothing tranquility.
