A provocative adaptation of the classic novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. Updated to present-day France by director Roger Vadim, the film follows Valmont (Gérard Philipe) and Juliette (Jeanne Moreau) as they manipulate each other into having extra-marital affairs.
