Aai is a 1995 Marathi drama film starring Arun Badshandey, Sunil Barve, Subhash Daatar, Nana Dalvi. Sumitra takes over her family's responsibility after her husband Avinash loses his legs in an accident. She sells her kidney to pay for her children's education. However, when her sons grow up and have their own family, they hesitate to take their parents' responsibility.

Shreekant has been married for 27 years & is still in love with his attractive wife, Aditi. One day, out of the blue, Aditi finds herself the sole heir to a large property, belonging to a man named Malhar Kamat. Shreekanth is puzzled by these turn of events & closely questions her. What he finds out will shake & devastate the very roots of his existence, and turn his entire family upside down.

A bunch of characters from different walks of life take a journey together on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. As they proceed some unexpected turn of events turn this trip into a metaphor for each character's journey inwards and reveal their true selves.
