While filming his documentary of Dal Dong Nae, the poverty-stricken neighborhood in Seoul, Su-man witnesses a murder scene where three men in masks killing a woman. The men in masks notice Su-man and come to his studio and kill him by smashing his head with a huge hammer. A moment later, Su-man wakes up naked at a gazebo in Dal Dong Nae. He goes home, thinking he had a strange dream. But when he gest home, he is again murdered by the masked man. Su-man suffers from childhood trauma caused by his father’s abuse and mother’s suicide.
