Life
After serving time (12 years!) for a crime he didn't commit, Det Charlie Crews returns to his job at the LAPD but gets a cool reception from his new partner, Det Dani Reese, and their tough boss. Charlie's former cell mate, Ted Earley (formerly the CEO of a powerful company), is now Charlie's housemate and financial adviser. Charlie's post-prison police work incorporates some quirks he acquired while serving time - a Zen philosophy and a fixation with fresh fruit.
