Centuries later, as humanity struggle to coexist with the Forest, Agito revives slumbering Toola, who calls forth ancient technology to reshape the future from the ashes of the past. With the blessing of the Forest, Agito must save Toola from herself in order to rescue them all.

During the wedding ceremony of Detective Sato and Detective Takagi, an assailant suddenly forces his way in. With the situation handled, Sato is reminded of the serial bombings where Detective Matsuda, the man she had been in love, was killed in the line of duty. In the meantime, the criminal behind the serial bombings escapes from prison.
