Feature film animation adaptation of Souda Osamu's same-named novel, which has also been turned into a live-action film starring Miyazawa Rie. Script handled by Ohkouchi Ichirou of the popular series CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Re;surrection and helmed by TV anime Dream Festival's Murano Yuta. Chiyono Aya suddenly has to relocate to Tokyo because of her parent's job as local councilman. High school junior Suzuhara Mamoru is a childhood friend who has had a crush on her for ages, and he makes a daring move to stay with Aya until her birthday.
