A group of students from a Japanese high school are forced to compete in a battle, killing one another until only one is left standing.

Haru's average life is turned upside down after she rescues a cat who turns out to be a prince. In exchange for her help, Haru is whisked away to a magical world full of talking cats to marry the cat prince.

As Gyaos monsters begin to attack Japan again, a young girl - whose parents died during a previous monster conflict - discovers a new creature called Iris. After merging with the girl, the trauma-powered Iris seeks revenge on Gamera, who seems to be losing his patience with humankind.
