Trupti Toradmal

Fatteshikast is a 2019 Marathi historical drama movie starring Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Ankit Mohan, and Mrinmayi Deshpande. Set during the reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the movie revolves around the Maratha leader`s famous battle with the Mughal army, led by Shaista Khan, at Lal Mahal for the city of Pune.

Aurangzeb wanted to turn the city of Burhanpur into the capital city of the south. He appointed Bahadur Khan as the Subhedar of Burhanpur. With the help of his chief Kakar khan, Bahadur Khan made the life of its residents miserable. Unable to tolerate this, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj raided the city and saved the people from the unjust rule.
