The end of the world gets a decidedly Russian makeover when a sleepy rural village decides to throw an end of the world party when news of an onrushing comet hits town.

As a result of a chain of tragic accidents, an astronaut finds himself alone on Mars. His only chance of survival is if Earth launches a rescue mission.
