Eleanor (Woodley) is a modern-day Clarice Starling, a young investigator wrestling with the demons of her past, when she’s called to the scene of a brutal crime—the work of a new and terrifying mass murderer. Recently affected by big business politics, Callie Banner decides to join an activist group to do something about it, finding a sense of belonging and solace in the association and its charismatic leader. Initially the group preaches action through non-violence but as she delves deeper into the activism, Callie becomes a target of the violence herself.
