A crowd of undisciplined counter-culture youths gather for kicks on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. A police lieutenant who is sympathetic to the kids attempts to set a curfew after receiving pressure from businessmen who want them to clear out.

Convinced he can hasten the end of WWII, a U.S. Army Air Forces Colonel plans a massive bombing of a German aircraft plant...using a thousand planes! Problems soon arise, until – despite the obstacles – the colonel’s perilous mission finally begins!
