A man marries a woman in defiance of his father's wishes, then must struggle alone to make a living.

A couple has twin sons with reflection mentality but one of the sons is abducted and left on the road by a criminal. Both brothers grow up with different personalities and when they cross each other's path misunderstanding arises. How they defeat a local gangster and reunite with family falls the rest of the story. The film was also remade into Hindi as Judwa.

When Sita (Soundarya) is unable to bear a child, her husband, Sriram (Venkatesh), gets married to Manisha (Vineetha) during his trip to Nepal. They have a son and Sita, after much reluctance, accepts Manisha as Sriram's wife.

Thangarasu, a young man, commits suicide when wrongly accused by Thavasi of stealing, and later Thavasi sends his son to live in Thangarasu's house.
